September 23-24, 2017
An overnight event in houses around our city
for the purpose of having fun and growing friendships.
Hideaway will be a blast for our students grades 6th to 12th. This is an overnighter with each age different group gathering in a home for fun and friendship September 23rd and 24th. Our hope is for the students to bond together early in the year, and then see those friendships grow the rest of the year in RSM (Redemption Student Ministry). They will share dinner, snacks, and breakfast at the host home. They will laugh, play games, watch movies, and stay up as long as they can. We will collect cell phones upon arrival and return them the next day. Students will be driven to church on Sunday morning for our worship gathering and Food Truck Fun Day, which is a fun event for the whole church right after our worship service. We will have food trucks where you can purchase lunch. There will be inflatables for kids and students, and time to connect with friends.
For this event to be great, we need the help of parents who would be willing to open their home for the students’ sleepover and other parents who would commit to bring dinner, snacks, or breakfast.
