p66logoWe have a fantastic service opportunity through a non-profit called Project 66 Community Food Pantry to prepare Thanksgiving food baskets for people in Edmond / Arcadia and surrounding communities who lack resources. This will be a wonderful time for our students to connect with one another while making a difference in our city.
     .     .     .
When: Sunday, November 8th, 6:00 – 7:30pm (this project takes the place of our normal gathering + groups for this week, and we will return to our normal time and location on Nov. 15th)
Where: Project 66 Community Food Pantry at 1700 S Bryant in Edmond (a metal building in the back parking lot of Oasis church directly behind CVS at 15th & Bryant).
What: Unloading a recent shipment of food and stocking food for Thanksgiving meals and other needs. Dress comfortably, and plan on getting a little dirty.
Who: Student Ministry is for students 6-12th grade, but anyone is welcome to serve with us. So, if parents want to stay, you are invited to join us.
Why: We get to go make a difference in our city!
