THE CITY

TheCity_horz_colorThe City is a tool that provides for connection and communication for our church that will enhance and enable community and mission. The City streamlines Redemption’s communication. We use The City as our check-in system for Redemption Kids. Ministry leaders use The City to communicate to parents and volunteers, church staff use it to communicate to the church body, and Redemption Groups use it to communicate to one another. The City is a great way to stay in touch with all that is happening with the people of Redemption Church.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Why does Redemption need The City?

In our busy world, the ability for our people to live in gospel-centered community is increasingly more difficult. The City gives us a place to find that community and also provides smaller platforms of communications to enhance it. Ultimately, The City enables us to connect as the body of Christ.

Is The City just another social network?

No. Popular social networks like Facebook and Twitter are geared toward individuals and their needs. The City is geared toward groups and the needs of the local church. Also, whereas most social networks create and replace community, The City merely supplements community that already exists.

How will the church communicate via The City?

Our pastors and leaders will communicate to our body sharing resources, promoting ministry opportunities, prayer requests, event information, etc. Leaders will communicate to ministry teams and volunteers. Redemption Group members will communicate with one another and with their leader. There are endless ways for the church to communicate via The City.
