EASTER AT REDEMPTION | April 1st, 2018

Filmmaker Jean Luc Godard said, “A story should have a beginning, a middle and an end, but not necessarily in that order.” Easter is the real story of a great reversal — when things seemed at their worst, we discover this was not really the end of the story. It was only the end of the beginning of the story. A new chapter — a better chapter — is still being written, and we are invited into the story. Christ’s resurrection offers hope to all who have ever felt the need to seek a new beginning.

We want to invite you to join us this Easter at Cheyenne Middle School (1271 West Covell Rd, Edmond, Oklahoma). Easter is a constant reminder that just when things look the worst, maybe they are really the best. Maybe the things that look like an end are really a new beginning. Wherever you have been in life; whether you are brand new to church and it feels a bit different and new to you, or you have been in church your whole life, you are welcome to come and celebrate with us!

There are two ways anyone can help on Easter Sunday:

Volunteer

We are expecting record attendance, and we’d love for you to help us with greeting before our Easter gathering and/or tear down after. After service, we’ll need extra help to pack up the additional classrooms, take down decorations and transport everything back to storage. If you are able to help, join us at 9:30 AM for Host Team greeters (in the lobby) and 11:50 AM (in the gym) for tear down. Let’s serve and give so that others may live!
