MOVE Phase 1 Funding Update

Last week, we shared the plan to phase our MOVE project, which enables us to move our worship gatherings to Sunday mornings at John Ross Elementary. In order to make this happen, we need to raise a total of $80,000 by June 8th.

Each of the chairs in the poster below (click to enlarge) represent an equivalent of $500 towards our funding goal. Based on the giving to date, the equivalent of 128 chairs ($64,000) has been donated, and only 32 chairs ($16,000) remain. We’re so thankful for God’s provision through your giving–it is making a difference! We will continue to update this poster weekly and display it in the lobby on Sundays so that you can keep up with our progress.

This week, I was having lunch with a friend who attends our church. As we were talking, he shared how crazy it is that each of us would spend more than $500 in repairing a vehicle without giving it much thought, while at the same time avoiding an opportunity to help someone connect with Jesus by giving a similar amount towards this MOVE.
